Wordless Wednesday

Another great show!

The Barenaked Ladies played the Orpheum in Minneapolis last night. I don't think I've missed more than one show they've ever played here. It's such a fun show and it was a great night! I met my friend Mary at Pracna on Main where we enjoyed perfect weather (and drinks) on the outdoor patio. Just a short walk across the bridge to downtown and to the show. The Ladies put on a great show as always. Next time I'll get my ducks in a row sooner and get back down to the front row where it's always better to see them. If they come to your town, you should definitely check them out!

Happy Mother's Day!

I had great plans for a tribute to my wonderful mother. Then I saw my sister's blog and realized I couldn't have done it better. All I can add is that if I can be even half the mother she's been to me, I'll be doing all right.

Saturday play date!

Finished!

Closet is finally done! I've decorated it with the only items I'll buy before I get a referral, a fuzzy pink heart pillow and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector. The pillow is prettier but I'm happy to have both. Now the wait continues. I've seen a few blogs with decorated nurseries, awaiting referral. Just can't bring myself to do it. Something about not counting my chickens. So I will wander into the room, open and close the drawers and wait. And wait.

I had a fun visit from some old friends to celebrate my birthday. First a trip to the park (forgot my camera) then lunch at Edina Grill...

Then back to the house to play for a bit. The boys are getting so big!
